Common Sense Gun Reform

Having worked for over three decades in healthcare in areas of Philadelphia where gun violence takes a disproportionate toll, Lisa has seen firsthand how gun violence shatters too many families and futures. She has always supported common sense legislation to end gun violence, including universal background checks, closing loopholes in firearm legislation, and red flag laws.

Lisa continues to be an advocate for gun safety legislation working with advocacy groups like CeaseFire and Moms Demand Action. She has been supportive of legislation including Extreme Risk Protection Orders (red flag laws), firearm safe storage, and expanded background checks. Sadly, none of these pieces of legislation have advanced in the Senate.
